Beautifully decorated in the Spanish style with elegant, custom-made mahogany furnishings, Villa Azucena definitely exceeds your expectations! On the first floor is a large bedroom with King size bed and private bath, a fully equipped and recently remodeled kitchen with separate dining and living area. There is also a smaller bedroom with bunk beds just perfect for the kids. From almost the entire first floor, you have an excellent view of the lakeside pool and golf course.

On the second floor you find the spacious Master bedroom with King size bed, as well as another guest bedroom with twin beds which can be joined to make an additional King bed. Both bedrooms have private baths and large walk in closets. Villa Azucena is everything you could hope for and more! Fully air conditioned, satellite TV, VCR and BBQ grill are just a few of the amenities. You also have access to the Villas del Mayab tennis court and the large swimming pool through a shared garden area. Next door to the villa, is the Playacar Aviary where you can walk among numerous exotic birds.
As a guest of the villa, you can participate in the all-inclusive benefits of the Reef Club Resort. With the VIP Guest card, you have access to beach towels and lounge chairs or you may opt for the half-day or full day all-inclusive package for a discounted fee. This entitles you to all meals, snacks and beverages, non-motor water sports activities, on site gym, children's play area and pool activities!

Perfectly situated on the beautiful championship golf course,
the villa is a short walk from the ferry boat to Cozumel and Playa
del Carmen’s famed Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue). The pedestrian
street is lined with many shops, restaurants and international cafes
and comes alive at night with strolling musicians and lively international
visitors. If you care to venture from Playa del Carmen, you may
want to explore the Mayan archeological ruins of Tulum, Chichen
Itza and Coba or the nearby ecological water parks of Xel-Ha and
Xcaret. Diving, snorkeling, horseback riding, jungle tours or just

The Reef Club is an all inclusive beach resort in Playacar. The VIP Card can get you access to their beach, facilities and discounted green fees at the golf course.

We visited Playa del Carmen in April, 2007 and were delighted with our stay in Villa Azucena! The house is in a great location set away from neighboring units and immediately adjacent to a beautiful golf course on one side and a bird sanctuary on the other. Although the town of Playa del Carmen is only a five minute walk away, we felt like we were far outside the city traffic in this idyllic setting of open space and singing birds. This area of Mexico offers a wide variety of things to do for families, from snorkeling to visiting nearby beaches or Mayan ruins. During the day we swam with dolphins, sea turtles, and tropical fish at one of the many attractions within 1/2 hour drive of this wonderful villa. At night our family enjoyed the swimming pool and the cool breezes off of the golf course.
The villa itself is extremely spacious, well furnished, and very well maintained. Our family of five was extremely comfortable and the villa could easily have supported three more people in the 4 large bedrooms. The staff of Playa Beach Rentals were extremely friendly and did a great job keeping the villa and the pool spotlessly clean.
We've stayed in a lot of vacation houses and condominiums over the years, but Villa Azucena was one of the very best. You won't be disappointed staying here!!!!
