Located between Akumal and Playa del Carmen, in the exclusive, yet casual, gated, resort of Puerto Aventuras, you will find yourself within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, bars, scuba diving shops, deep sea fishing charters, swim with dolphins, golf, tennis and other services. After learning a little more about the villa and location, we think you will agree, THIS IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE VACATION VILLA.
Decorated with unusual pieces of art and furniture collected from a lifetime of travel and life abroad, it is unique and eclectic. Each of the 9 bedrooms is furnished in a different theme. You can spend a week in Africa, Persia, Buenos Aires, the Far East, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, or South America. All bedrooms have private security safes, CD/tape/radios, alarm clocks and attached bathrooms with showers, hair dryers & comfy bathrobes. All linens and towels are included. The 2 on site maids, a gardener and handyman ensure things are kept clean and working well. An English speaking property manager will assist you with your check in and is available should you require their assistance.

There is a fabulous kitchen, which should please even the most discerning chef. Formal or casual dining, inside or out with seating for all 18 guests. One indoor and 2 outdoor bars, numerous terraces, an entertainment center with American satellite TV offering the networks and more than 30 movie channels, DVD library, a video & book library, puzzles & board games, XBOX games, computer with internet, 2 private pools with waterfalls (one just for the kids), hammocks under a palapa, volleyball on the sand, scuba diving & snorkeling right in front of the villa, tranquil courtyard with fountain in back, bicycles, telephone & fax, both gas & charcoal bar-b-ques, the list goes on and on....
Also available at the villa for an extra charge are massage services, diving instruction & equipment rental, babysitting and a cook. The villa is within walking distance to numerous restaurants, shops, internet cafes, pharmacy, car rental, tour operators, church, swim with dolphins, golf, tennis, deep sea fishing charters, sailing and other attractions. The area is an excellent ocean and world renown cave diving zone. Day trips to Mayan Ruins and the island of Cozumel are also available. Did we mention the views? SPECTACULAR! THE BEDROOMS:
Mediterranean : King bed with Ocean view and terrace. From the "Master Suite" you can lay in the jacuzzi tub, open the shutters and enjoy the ocean view or relax in a hammock on the terrace.
African : King bed with Courtyard view. With a real zebra hide on the wall (a gift from a friend with a diamond mine in Tanzania) wood carvings from Kenya and baskets from Madagascar, there is no question you are in Africa. Open your window and fall asleep to the soothing fountain below. Look down into the courtyard and you will see the palapa roofed bird cage housing a friendly African Grey named "Mambo"
Asian : Twin beds or King with jungle view. With interesting pieces from Bali, Thailand, China, Indonesia and India, you will want to light some incense and drift off to the Far East.
Persia: Queen bed with terrace out to Courtyard. Fine linens from Egypt, a chest from Oman, cushions from Syria, an Iranian prayer mat facing Mecca, baskets from Yemen, antique carpets from Iraq and photos & prints from all over the Middle East. This room is very inviting.
Buenos Aires: Twins or a King with walk out to courtyard. Full of original art by local artists from that city where the tango was born.
Caribbean: King bed with Ocean & Pool view. Colorful decor and a slider with 10 steps to the pool. What more could you want on a Caribbean vacation?
South American : King with Ocean & Pool view: Blow guns and spears from the Amazon (the owner traded a T-shirt for these in 1975), water colors from Bolivia, weavings from Ecuador, a butterfly collection from Brazil and a slider out to the terrace.
Pool House Master Suite: King bed with Ocean & Pool view. Sofa, desk, TV/DVD, jacuzzi tub with view of ocean, extra large bathroom. Huge terrace.
Pool House Guest: King bed with walk out to Pool & Ocean. Traditional Mexican tiles and finishing.
Nearby Attractions
For an extra charge, Brisa Caribe offers you many amenities: a wide range of scuba diving courses (you and your family will have a personal dive guide ), full time cook, English speaking baby sitter, plus massages, manicures and pedicures available in the comfort of the villa. Packages for deep-sea fishing and scuba diving are available. Brisa Caribe is perfect for special events and weddings . The open air palapa roofed church, the gazebo in the square, the beach or the rooftop all provide a wonderful backdrop. Cellular telephone and fax are available at an extra charge also.
Playa del Carmen is only a 15 minute drive away, as well as the ferry to Cozumel Island. Nearby are Xcaret the eco-water park, Tulum ruins, Xel Ha National Park and Coba Ruins, but we doubt you will want to leave Brisa Caribe at all!! You can even swim with the dolphins right in Puerto Aventuras.
Puerto Aventuras is a private marine and golf resort community just 15 minutes south of Playa del Carmen.

Once again, I would like to say that everything was absolutely
perfect. You really do a fantastic job. A real credit to both of
you is the fact that after we left you and checked into the Ritz
Carlton in Cancun, every single one of us said the exact same thing.
This is great and the Ritz is beautiful but I would take Brisa Caribe
over the Ritz Carlton any day. That came from all 14 people.
