Casa Krusi is located in the beautiful private gated community of Playacar Phase 1 which has 24-hour a day security. From the front door of Casa Krusi, it is a short (100 Yards) easy walk to the pristine white beaches and warm turquoise water of the Caribbean ocean. The town of Playa del Carmen is an easy enjoyable walk as well, just 10 minutes on a cobbled stone road with the Caribbean ocean as your view or you may choose to walk the shaded footpath through the jungle with an equally lovely view of giant fan ferns and Mayan Ruins. Casa Krusi features a new private pool as well as a poolside BBQ for your total enjoyment!
Fully Stocked with the Necessities and More!
We have everything you could want at your disposal. The Casa is well stocked with all the necessities for guests. The living room is large and very comfortable. There is a wrap around deck for your enjoyment, a color television with Direct TV, DVD player, VCR with 50 or so movies (in English) for all ages and a stereo with CD, radio, tape player. The living room has a large ceiling fan and all floor to ceiling windows are screened as are the French doors to the deck.
The dining room is of full size with a bar adjoining the kitchen. There is also a deck that connects to the living room if you enjoy outdoor dining. The dining table will comfortably seat 8 people. Off of the dining room is a full size kitchen which is well stocked with everything a gourmet cook would want including a full size stove and oven, microwave, refrigerator, blender, electric coffee pot, blender, crock pot, and electric juicer! The pantry is fully stocked with all cooking utensils, dishes, cutlery, etc. You'll usually even find the spice cupboard full as well.
Large, Comfortable Air Conditioned Bedrooms
On the first level are 2 bedrooms. The first one is decorated in green's to give one the relaxed feeling of being in a cool garden. The 2nd bedroom is decorated in a pale pastel yellow and white. Both bedrooms are a comfortable size with a King bed and dresser, and each has an adjoining private bathroom and private walk-in closet. All bedroom and bathroom linens are provided.
Up the staircase from the living room is the very large master bedroom and bathroom complete with a comfortable King size bed, dressing table with marble top, tables with matching marble tops on each side of the bed and a dresser with hand carving. As with the guest bedrooms, the Master bedroom has a large closet and fully stocked linen closet. There is a sitting area and a table to write letters or even do puzzles. The view from the sitting room is quite beautiful early in the morning as you can watch the white cranes and storks flying to the nearby bird aviary to nest in the tops of the trees. All 3 bedrooms have ceiling fans, as well as air conditioning.
Additional Conveniences
On the first level, there is also a fully equipped laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron and clothes line. For your added convenience we have an outdoor shower next to the laundry room so you may shower off the sand upon arrival from your day of swimming.
There is maid service three times a week to keep the casa clean and sparkling. She also changes the linens and washes the towels. The gardener comes frequently to tend the garden which is full of coconut trees, ferns, banana trees bougainvilleas, gardenias, sweet smelling Jasmine and Hibiscus. A huge Banyan tree is directly out side of the kitchen sink window which is always full of different types of beautiful birds.
Bilingual Property Management Staff
Our excellent management company, Playa Beach Rentals, is most helpful and will do the best possible to make sure your stay is a pleasant one. Soon after your arrival, one of their representatives will greet you and come by to check on you to see if you need any information, as well as share tips on Playa del Carmen, restaurants, shopping, or information on tours, etc. They will even assist you with tour arrangements or airport transportation. If you would like to have a babysitter or cook at any time during your stay that can also usually be arranged. Advance notice or reservations before your arrival is highly recommended. (The babysitter and cook, is a separate charge and not included in your rental fee.)

Hated to leave! We arrived at night, and it was a great surprise to wake up to the beautiful tropical setting of the house. Birds of all kinds, flowers everywhere, and huge butterflies to watch while sipping the morning coffee. The beach is right around the corner, gorgeous powder sand, not crowded. The house is in a great location, close to everything. The pool was also handy for our little one. The property managers were so helpful, and the maid was ultra efficient (as was pool man and gardener)- these people work so hard! The house is beautifully decorated, great love went into it. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Krusi, this was our first time in Mexico and it was everything that Pato told us it would be and much better. We were a group of 3 couples and the house was perfect, we all had our own space for quiet times and privacy as well as the huge common areas when we wanted to do things together. I highly recommend this home for anyone travelling as a group. The house is a few minutes walk to most everything on Playa Del Carmen. We found that most of the restaurants listed in the directory at the house were very inexpensive and very tasty. Our favorite watering hole was the 77 Club where we would meet up each night before returning the house for a few margarita's and or Corona's, and the use of their computers for emailing family and friends.
Thanks again for everything to the staff of the Krusi home. Maybe see you next year.

Our family had a wonderful time at Casa Krusi. We had 5 adults and our 22 month old granddaughter. The house is just as described - we watched the movies - listened to the CD's. The beach is an easy walk and was rather secluded - not crowded. Having our own pool was also great. We bought our groceries at the Walmart in Playa - $3.00 cab ride - the store was just like home. We did eat out 2 nights also. Playa was an easy walk also. We have made several trips to Playa and this is the way to go - our thanks to the owners for sharing their lovely home.

....As for our week at Casa Krusi, we couldn't have been happier. The house was just perfect for us
and the ninos. The beach was great, and there were even days when old ladies could swim
peacefully. The children loved the big waves...we had never seen action like that before
in the Caribbean except during a storm! We found the house immaculate, and our lovely
housekeeper managed to keep it that way, despite a pile of children in the living room. Our every
question was answered immediately! So thanks to you all. We are anxious to return and see you
again! Adios for now....

I am not sure if there is a survey for the owner but if you would like to share a few comments please feel free.
- Playa Beach Rentals staff were friendly, helpful and reliable. A great resource to have while in Playa. Both Sergio (Playa Beach Rentals Guest Relations Asst) & Pato (Reservation Mgr) came by to greet us our first day there and to ensure that everything was o.k. and to answer any questions. Sergio followed up with many other visits - I only regret that we did not get to say a proper good bye and thank you to both of them - there is always next year I guess.
- The cleaning services (Pool & Home) came as scheduled were not intrusive and were very polite, hard working, great people to meet!
- Everything in the house was in good working order and exactly as depicted on the web site. I would recommend you put some pictures of the pool on the site though. I for one enjoyed the pool every day! The homeowners ' manual' was great... I think we ate at every restaurant they recommended!
Again thanks for everything. I look forward to hearing back regarding any questions you may have.

Casa Krusi was very pleasant. The staff at Playa Beach Rentals is very helpful.
Even before we arrived Daniella (PBR Office) helped with any questions we had. Once we were at Casa Krusi, Claudia (PBR Guest Relations) came by often to see if everything was alright and to make sure we were comfortable.
The house is clean, comfortable and in a great location. We were 3 couples using the house and we found it to be exactly what we needed. The bedrooms were perfect and gave each of us the privacy we needed. Each bedroom had a private bath and king size beds.
At night we walked to town to enjoy the restaurants. Just once we ate on 5th Ave. We found that going off 5th Ave just a block or two gave us a better impression of Playa Del Carmen (and it was less expensive). Later at night we would walk back to the house and sit out on the front porch talking into the night. We used the pool every day. The back yard had lounge chairs for sunning and a patio set in the shade for relaxing.
Just like the web site says, the beach is just a short block away, and the walk to town is very easy. We only took a cab once and that was because the restaurant (Alux) was west past the main highway. (I highly recomend trying Alux. It is quite expensive for dinner, but you can go for dessert or one of their Mayan coffee's. The restaurant is in a cave and it is awesome)
We found Casa Krusi to be all that we expected. A great house for couples, a great location and it was a great experience renting through Playa Beach Rentals. We would definately do it again.
