House Description
Villa Sol y Luna (Sun and Moon) is a secluded villa with private
pool located near the beautiful white sand beaches of the Caribbean
and on the top rated Von Hagge Golf Course in the Playacar Resort,
a private, gated community next to Playa del Carmen. A 10 minute
walk will take you to the beaches of the Caribbean, the ferry boat
to Cozumel or enjoy the shopping, food and happy hours of Playa
del Carmen. The villa is secluded and private, surrounded by lush
tropical gardens hosting a variety of butterflies and tropical birds.
Enjoy the peace and quiet of the sun terrace or the shaded pool
patio. 
The freshwater pool is maintained daily by our caretaker who resides
in separate quarters on the property. The maid will keep everything
clean, stocked and worry-free. If you're ready to take a tour or
need assistance with anything, the bilingual property manager is
available to assist you in any way. A phone, safe and purified water
are provided at the villa. It is easy to get to Playacar from the
Cancun Airport. It is a 40 minute cab ride or you can rent a car
and drive down on the new highway; from Cozumel, the trip is a 40
minute ferry ride.
This secluded private villa has air conditioning, pool, laundry,
television and a full kitchen. The grounds include beautiful tropical
gardens, with patio and private sun deck. Security and maid services
(3 times a week) are provided. The house is a short walk to beach,
downtown Playa del Carmen, or the ferry to Cozumel.
Casa Phillys, Casa
Agave and Villa Sol y Luna are close to each other and can be
combined for large groups.
Nearby Attractions
Topless beaches, snorkeling, scuba, fishing, swimming, golf and
aviary - all in Playacar. Close to the Xcaret - Eco-park and Playa
del Carmen. A quick trip to the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, Tulum
and Coba. Within easy reach of Cozumel, Cancun, Akumal, and the
entire Mayan Riviera.

in the Playa Beach Rentals Office to receive the card.
The Reef Club is an all inclusive beach resort in Playacar. The VIP Card can get you access to their beach, facilities and discounted green fees at the golf course.

This was our first visit to Villa Sol y Luna and I
am sure it will not be the last! Fantastic location, gorgeous house
and pool, we walked to quinta avenida every evening, the kitchen
is perfectly equipped for family meals. Melchor, Angeles, and Elizabeth
[Playa Beach Rental employees] were awesome! We enjoyed our stay
tremendously and look forward to our next visit.

We have been to the Villa on two occasions and they have been the
best two vacations of our lives! house is outstanding, the location
prime, the rates reasonable, the attractions close enough for walking
or day trips... I could go on and on. It was hard for us to decide
after our last trip whether the best part was just hanging out at
the house by the pool, or visiting the nearby ruins, snorkeling
off local beaches, or sightseeing/shopping/eating in town. We plan
on returning as soon as possible to this tropical paradise!

One of the most wonderful vacations ever! Minutes from the beach,
minutes from golf (a pretty challenging course!) and only 3 hours
flight time from most US locations! Book it, you can't beat it!
